Wanted : GBMM!

So I got screwed by the people who were supposed to bring in my Ghostbusters Minimates. Now I'm Minimates-less and pining for some.

So what did I do? Create some lil cute, stylized versions of everyone's favourite ghost bustin' foursome of course! And I posed 'em with my Ecto 1. :D

Here's the dialogued version...

I hope I'll get my Minimates someday... *sigh*

Batman : Hush

My list of Favourite Comic Book Artists (in no order of merit) are:

Ed Mcguinness
Steve McNiven
Humberto Ramos
David Finch
Mike Weiringo (RIP)
Michael Turner (RIP)
Joe Madureira
Michael Avon Oeming
Frank Cho
Tim Sale
Alex Ross
J. Scott Campbell
Lee Bermejo

...and of course, Jim Lee.

I was familiar with some of his earlier work in X-Men and WildC.A.T.s but the book that got me hooked as a Jim Lee fan for life was the Batman : Hush storyline that he did with Jeph Loeb. I remember that it was one of the first few books I bought when I started buying comics seriously way back when I was in NS. Recently though, I think he's been paired up with crappy writers that don't do him justice (Brian Azarello and Frank Miller, I'm looking at youse guys). His art's still top notch but the writing... gah... don't get me started.

Anyhoo, today we be reviewing three of my recent purchases; Jim Lee 'Hush' versions of Batman, Catwoman and Huntress.

Disney Magical Collection : Kingdom Hearts

Kingdom Hearts was the dream game come true for me : a game where all the Disney worlds came together in one massive continuity. Dude, Disney Action Adventure RPG that was not catered to 4 to 6 year olds? I was SOLD!

The first one was way better than the second one (which I felt started to go too much into its own convulted mythology). Still, I played it for the chance to traipse across the various Disney worlds and interact (and sometimes fight alongside!) the beloved characters from my childhood. :D
